At Genesis, we value people as our most important asset and to recognise this, we have an ‘Employee of the Quarter’ scheme to reward the hard work of individual team members.
These are people who have gone above and beyond their jobs roles to support the business and maintain the high standard of excellence Genesis upholds.
Each quarter, employees are asked to nominate the colleague they feel is deserving of the award, applications are sent in and the leadership team have the pleasure of reading through the nominations and tallying up the votes to see who wins for each side of the business – one for the UK/Europe, one for the US.

UK Employee of the Quarter
Jacob Evans, R&D Scientist
Jacob joined the technical team in August 2023 and during this short period, has made a significant contribution to the business. He is a highly enthusiastic team member, displaying a curiosity towards ongoing R&D projects and is keen to expand his knowledge consistently pursuing new techniques and endeavours to deepen his understanding of the scientific principles underlying our products.
Jacob always puts in 100% effort and care with his work and goes above and beyond to conduct all experiments on time to a meticulous standard.
In addition to this, Jacob also fosters a very positive environment in the lab and always has words of encouragement to help out other team members. At the end of the work day, he frequently praises the entire lab team, uplifting spirits with expressions of appreciation for a job well done.
Speaking on his win, Jacob shared: “This week I was recognised as the Employee of the Quarter of the European branch of Genesis Biosciences. I am flattered to have been nominated for this award by such hard-working colleagues, striving toward the common goal of improving the environmental impact of cleaning products.”
US Employee of the Quarter
Jarod Frost, Fermentation Shift Supervisor
Jarod has been with Genesis since 2018 and in 2020 he won the Employee of the Year. Since that time, he has become an even greater asset to the fermentation team and to the company, as a whole. Jarod has recently stepped up and taken on the role of day shift supervisor and he is proving to be exemplary in this role. He takes responsibility for his teams’ losses and shows great pride when they win. He sets an example and inspires his department to stay positive and proactive in all aspects of their work.
Jarod is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that work is completed to the highest standards. He consistently looks for and finds ways to develop new strategies and create solutions to complex issues. His dedication to the fermentation team has helped him build strong relationships and has and will continue to contribute to the growth of the company.
Jarod is a great asset to this company and is very deserving of this award.
